Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. You will lead data-driven projects, develop procedures, and train teams on updated processes to sustain quality improvements.

The role requires collaboration across functions, hands-on problem-solving, and effective communication at all organizational levels. Strong SPC/QA tool knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3–5 years applying quality engineering principles, problem-solving, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience supporting quality and improvement initiatives in manufacturing/industrial environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Use data-driven problem solving (PDCA, 6-sigma, etc.) to drive sustainable results.
  • Develop data collection to define production capability and improvement opportunities.
  • Understand production capabilities and apply data to engineering/quality standards.
  • Develop measurements and effectively communicate data to leadership levels.
  • Participate in lean initiatives and train teams on updated processes.
  • Organize QA meetings, events and related logistics.
