Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company in Columbus, NE seeks a quality/technical professional to oversee quality needs for a product line, support plant projects, and participate in audits.

You will develop root cause investigations and CAPA, understand validations, perform measurement system analysis, and drive data-driven decisions to improve quality, reliability and cost, while completing projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Engineering required.
  • 0-5 years’ experience in quality/technical role; Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees quality needs for a product line across multiple processes.
  • Assist and/or manage plant projects and drive to completion.
  • Participate in audits as process and quality systems.

  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis.
  • Conduct diagnostic and statistical analysis of methods, equipment and materials to improve product quality, process reliability and cost.
  • Assist in meeting plant team plans for cost and quality improvement, operating within department budget guidelines.
  • Demonstrate ability to make consistent and data driven decisions.
  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
  • Completion of projects on time and on budget.
  • Complete investigations and validations.

Job Responsibilities

Education and Experience

Minimum Education: Required: BA/BS Degree: Engineering: Applied, Automotive, Computer/Information, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronic, Process or Project Engineering

Minimum Experience: 0-5 years’ experience working in a quality / technical role. Experience at a Pharma, Biotech or Medical Device manufacturer preferred.
