Minimum 5 Years of Quality Engineering Experience within a Manufacturing Environment
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to fill an opening with a leading aerospace manufacturer located near Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, inspection and testing processes, GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and quality documentation while working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and customers to ensure products meet stringent quality and aerospace requirements.
Requirements of the Quality Control Engineer
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Strong manufacturing quality and quality control experience
- Good understanding of GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements
- Knowledge of AS9102 requirements
- Experience developing inspection, testing, and quality control procedures
- Experience working directly with production personnel in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality documentation, inspection records, and statistical quality data
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience programming and operating CMMs using PC-DMIS preferred
- Aerospace composites manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Engineer
- Develop and implement methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and product evaluation
- Develop sampling procedures and quality inspection processes
- Create and maintain forms, instructions, and documentation used to record quality checks
- Work with Engineering to define and document inspection and testing processes
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements to identify factors affecting product quality and reliability
- Ensure quality requirements and considerations are properly defined and documented within quality plans
- Interface directly with customers and customer quality representatives
- Analyze quality issues, defects, and deviations from established standards
- Maintain charts, graphs, statistical records, and other quality documentation related to defects and quality performance
- Provide recommendations and corrective actions related to quality deviations and process issues
- Support quality reviews throughout the manufacturing and production process
- Assist with quality training programs and development of quality control training documentation as needed
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure compliance with customer, company, and aerospace quality requirements
- Provide hands‑on quality engineering support throughout the manufacturing environment
