Job summary

Insight Global is seeking MRB Engineers to evaluate non-conforming hardware and develop disposition recommendations as part of MRB activities. The role partners with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure NCRs are resolved per regulatory and company requirements.

You will progress toward MRB authority and manage increasingly complex NCRs. Responsibilities include preparing MRB packages, conducting technical analyses, and reducing disposition cycle time while maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Civil or related discipline (ABET-accredited).
• 3–10+ years of aerospace/aviation engineering or manufacturing support experience.
• Progression toward MRB Authority or on track to obtain MRB authority; current MRB authority is a plus.
• Experience performing root cause analysis, dispositioning non-conformances, and supporting manufacturing/build operations.

Overview:

Insight Global is seeking multiple MRB Engineers to evaluate non-conforming hardware, perform technical analyses, and develop disposition recommendations in support of Material Review Board (MRB) activities. This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure non-conformances are resolved in accordance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. The individual will progressively assume responsibility for increasingly complex NCRs while advancing through the MRB authority certification process.

• Analyzes non-conformances and develops disposition recommendations while advancing through the MRB authority certification pathway (expedited path).
• Supports MRB boards and collaborates with Authority Holders
• Prepare MRB packages and supporting technical documentation.
• Perform configuration impact assessments and technical analysis.
• Support MRB boards and collaborate with Authority Holders.
• Progressively take ownership of higher-complexity NCRs.
• Reduce disposition cycle time through consistent, quality output.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (must be ABET accredited)
• 3–10+ years of aerospace / aviation engineering or manufacturing support experience
• Demonstrated progression toward MRB Authority / on track or pathed to obtain MRB authority (current MRB authority is a plus)
• Experience performing root cause analysis, dispositioning non-conformances, and supporting manufacturing/build operations
• Solid grasp of mechanical design principles and analysis.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.

Pay: $50.00 - $95.00 per hour (contingent on experience, education, and qualifications)
