Job summary

PDS in Chandler, AZ, seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance leader to guide internal audits across global sites against ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 21434, and IEC 62443, and support certifications.

You will drive QMS integration for acquired companies, resolve customer quality issues with Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales, and Manufacturing, and lead preventive actions. The role emphasizes process mapping, gap analyses, and building robust quality tools worldwide.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Master’s degree preferred for seniority.
• 5+ years experience in electrical/electronic/semiconductor industries.
• Proficient with SPC, DOE, regression analysis, MSA, Minitab, JMP.
• Basic programming and analytics skills (Python, Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and presenting to leadership.
• Willingness to travel across global time zones.

Job description

You will perform internal audits at worldwide locations against standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 21434, and IEC 62443, and support third party certifications and ongoing audits at multiple design and manufacturing sites. You will help integrate newly acquired companies into the QMS and lead corporate efforts to earn new QMS and product cybersecurity certifications.

You will also resolve customer quality issues by working with Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales, and Manufacturing to find root cause and implement corrective actions, and review customer technical specifications and non-standard requests for feasibility. Alongside factory and new product development teams, you will improve processes and release procedures, build as-is and to-be process maps, run gap analyses, and support initiatives aimed at 0 ppb. You will also help develop corporate quality tools, including machine learning capabilities, for global locations.

What You Bring

• BS in Engineering or equivalent (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical); Master’s preferred
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in electrical, electronic, or semiconductor industries
• Working knowledge of statistical tools (SPC, DOE, regression analysis, MSA, Minitab, JMP) and basic programming and analytics skills (Python, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills, with general knowledge of semiconductor products
• A record of managing multiple projects with cross functional teams and presenting to leadership
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the flexibility to travel and work across global time zones
