Job summary

OCTA INC. is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a hands-on manufacturing team focused on building quality into every product. The role blends quality assurance, inspection, documentation control, and continuous improvement to quickly resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

You will collaborate with production, suppliers, and customers to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions. This position emphasizes practical problem solving and teamwork on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Comfort on the manufacturing floor with production teams.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, and APQP.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with OEM customers is a plus.

Quality Engineer - Manufacturing

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and help us continue to build quality into everything we make. This is a hands-on role in a family-owned manufacturing environment where we work closely together and solve problems as a team. This role combines quality assurance, inspection, documentation control, customer issue resolution and continuous improvement. What You'll Do

• Create and update quality documents and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.


• Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and with production teams.


• CQE or Six Sigma certification is a plus but not required.


• Engineering degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.


• Experience with OEM customers is a plus.


• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, root cause analysis, PPAP, FMEA, and APQP.


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
