Kimco Staffing Services, Inc. seeks a hands-on Quality Engineer to solve problems, improve processes, and work with production teams.
You will help reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer returns while driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process. This hands-on role requires analytical thinking, ownership of quality issues from investigation through corrective action, and the ability to mentor others.
We’re looking for a Quality Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working directly with production teams. In this role, you’ll help reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer returns while driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Identify and resolve product, process, and manufacturing quality issues.
Lead corrective and preventive actions to reduce non‑conformances, scrap, rework, and customer returns.
Use Quality, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools to improve processes.
Conduct internal quality audits and follow up on corrective actions.
Support customer audits, returns, and quality‑related requests.
Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
Help train and mentor quality and production personnel.
Evaluate inspection and testing equipment and support proper employee training.
Work closely with production and cross‑functional teams to meet quality goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
Experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or manufacturing.
Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
Ability to analyze parts and process issues and develop effective solutions.
Knowledge of quality systems, corrective actions, and internal audits.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Aerospace manufacturing experience.
Elastomer or plastics manufacturing experience.
ASQ Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
