Job summary

OCTA INC. is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team.

This hands-on role supports quality assurance, inspection, documentation control, customer issue resolution, and continuous improvement in a collaborative, family-owned environment. You will help reduce scrap, identify root causes, maintain the Quality Management System, and work with customers and production to solve problems on the floor.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, root cause analysis, PPAP, FMEA, and APQP.
• CQE or Six Sigma certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience with OEM customers is a plus.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and help us continue to build quality into everything we make. This is a hands-on role in a family-owned manufacturing environment where we work closely together and solve problems as a team. This role combines quality assurance, inspection, documentation control, customer issue resolution and continuous improvement. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
