Job summary

Magna International, a leader in automotive technology, is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance professional in Kentucky. The role requires at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA & SPC) and strong Excel/Word skills are valued as you coordinate quality planning, measure performance, and maintain plant-wide quality systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience and High School diploma or GED.
  • One year experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
  • Knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA & SPC), Automotive Customer, or similar quality requirements.
  • Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Operate standard office equipment preferred.
  • Ability to do trigonometric functions, geometry, and basic math.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Must have computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates quality planning including control plans, FMEA's, audit/inspection details, sample submissions and training plans for inspection.
  • Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures that ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitors, reports and improves customer satisfaction performance.
  • Implements and maintains plant wide quality systems.
