Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in testing/validation/test method development, including fixture design, instrumentation, data acquisition, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Well-rounded automotive knowledge and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and able to manage unionized workforce.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel and Project.
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and understanding full detail on drawings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating cross functional project meetings.
• Compile project status reports, coordinate project schedules, agendas, minutes and correspondence.
• Identify and analyze system requirements, and define project scope, requirements, and deliverables involving multiple stakeholders.
• Lead the resolution of warranty related issues - Accountable for problem solving process, proposed solution, validation, and weekly progress.
• Lead Triage – warranty claims review, sorting claims and bucketing, review and call vehicles at dealers, support Client/Suppliers review at Quality Engineering Center and Manufacturing locations.
• Establish & validate containment & permanent actions at Client / Supplier.
• Plants by physically reviewing the product/process changes, internal metrics and control plan update.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering from accredited University
• 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering
• 2 + years of experience in testing/validation/test method development, including fixture design, instrumentation, data acquisition, etc.
