Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and develop test plans and automate validation from complex requirements. You will implement automation code to deliver solutions that meet defined criteria and compliance needs, and triage product quality issues across initiatives.

Collaborate with developers and managers to ensure high-quality technical output, driving the integrity of work on major projects in a role with in-office expectations and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on automation framework experience.
• Proficient in Java and/or C#.
• Experience with POSTMAN and REST APIs.
• Experience with UI automation frameworks.
• Ability to interpret functional requirements to plan, write and automate tests.
• Build reusable automation tests/scripts using Java.
• Execute, evaluate and report automated test results; review GitHub feature files.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong Automation Framework hands on with 5+ years of experience in managing organizational level Automation Framework solutions

• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java/C#

• Experience with POSTMAN and executing REST API’s

• Experience with UI automation frameworks

• Interpret functional requirements and designs to plan, develop, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.

• Build re-usable automation tests/test scripts using javat

• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.

• Review github feature files, branching strategy, maintain github branches.

Desired Qualifications:

• Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Highly detailed oriented.
