This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution.

Responsibilities
  • Develops detailed, comprehensive and well‑structured test cases based on functional, non‑functional, and compliance requirements
  • Leads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria
  • Leads test case reviews and works with subject‑matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage
  • Identifies automation opportunities and develops test automation for applicable test types
  • Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and records test results
  • Designs test data and ensures data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
  • Uses testing tools and follows processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and performs necessary steps required to promote the code base to higher level environments
Required Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable on the principles of test management and testing process
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Automation skills required using automation tools beyond recording features; TOSCA and/or Selenium advanced coding methods expected
  • Development/automation coding expertise a plus with demonstration of technical skills; specific technology is not important as most QA can move between different types of applications
  • Experience with Selenium Automation Tool
  • Experience with API testing
  • QA background with strong analytical skills, ability to decompose requirements into testable cases covering positive, negative, variety of data scenarios
  • Experience in testing backend services, integrations with upstream/downstream systems
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery/deployment practices using Litmus or Jenkins
  • Basic competency with Git Source Control
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) JIRA and any test management tool to manage testing and test reporting
  • Experience leading onshore and offshore scrum team
  • Experience testing within an Agile development lifecycle
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in Selenium Automation Tool
