Job summary

InComm Payments in Atlanta, GA seeks a Quality Engineering & DevOps Intern to gain hands-on experience across QA, CI/CD, and analytics. You will assist automated and manual testing, support API and integration testing, and participate in defect analysis while learning modern CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps.

The role also covers reporting, metrics, and exploring AI-assisted tooling to enhance release readiness and engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in computer science or related field.
• Metro-Atlanta University students set to graduate December 2027 - May 2028 preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of automated test solutions.
• Execute and analyze automated and manual tests for quality risks.
• Support API, integration, functional, and regression testing activities.
• Document test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
• Participate in defect analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve software quality and release confidence.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline implementation and Azure DevOps maintenance.
• Support automation efforts to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Learn deployment and release management best practices.
