Job summary

InComm Payments is seeking a Data Analyst Intern in Atlanta to join our analytics team. You will focus on data quality and automated reporting while gaining hands-on experience with SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.

As an intern, you will reverse engineer SQL code, create stored procedures, and collaborate with senior analysts and engineers on real projects. The role emphasizes learning and growth in data science.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Student enrolled in Metro-Atlanta University expected to graduate Dec 2027 - May 2028.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (SQL or SAS).
• Familiar with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and data quality checks using SQL.
• Create and maintain data documentation and metadata.
• Collaborate with senior data analysts and data engineers to diagnose reporting concerns.
• Work with other data analysts on data‑related tasks and projects.
• Gain experience in creating reports and dashboards.
• Communicate data findings and recommendations to the team.
• Participate in planning, touch‑bases, and deployments.
