Job summary

Pollo Campero Manassas is hiring a kitchen team member to prepare high-quality food with precision while ensuring food-safety procedures are followed. You will support a fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen and work closely with the front of house to maintain excellent service.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A $250 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles.
• Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must follow the company Personal Care and Hygiene policies.
• Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintains verbal communication with FOH
• Monitors the quality of food
• Marinating and breading chicken
• Ensuring chicken is properly inspected
• Following receipts accordingly
• Ensures restaurant adherence to health and sanitation standards
• Follow protocol chicken forecast
• Filtration of the oil to ensure quality standards
• Thoroughly clean equipment
• Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
• Follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and procedures
