Job summary

Linamar Corporation, a Michgan-based manufacturing company, seeks a Quality Administrator to maintain and improve the IATF 16949 Quality Documentation System under the Sr. Quality Engineer.

The role focuses on document control, master list maintenance, Plex ERP system management, and coordinating approvals while supporting the Quality Manager and internal audits. Strong MS Office skills and communication are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Experience with IATF 16949 is preferred.
• Familiarity with Plex ERP and MS Office.
• Ability to work with vendors and customers.
• Maintain documentation and records with retention in mind.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Master Document List.
• Organize Quality Documentation Directories and PLEX Document Control System.
• Oversee updating of Quality System Documents (formatting, editing).
• Facilitate approvals for new documents and changes.
• Create and distribute Quality-related production signs.
• Act as the primary administrative contact for the Quality Department.
• Manage records retention: hardcopies and scanned records; determine retention periods.
• Support the Quality Manager and lead IATF 16949 internal audits.
• Assist with training records, shipment certifications, returns, data reports, and new hire orientation.
