Job summary

Tutor Intelligence is hiring a Quality Manager to embed quality into how we buy, build, and ship robots. In the first year you will write part specifications, establish an approved vendor list, set up incoming inspection and ship gates, and lead containment and root-cause when issues slip through.

As the company grows, you will build a quality team of engineers and shape a scalable quality system that fits the business.

Qualifications

• Must have set up inbound inspection and supplier controls.
• Should have driven containment and root-cause on electromechanical hardware.
• Experience managing suppliers, including overseas.
• Able to design a quality system aligned to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement vendor qualification and inspection processes.
• Lead containment and corrective actions when issues occur.
• Develop and scale the quality system as the organization grows.
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and production to enforce quality standards.
