Job summary

You will set up equipment, perform quality checks, maintain logs, and respond to production needs. Training includes OSHA, SAFE and plant-specific programs; lifting up to 75 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math ability.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck once trained.
• Willing to be trained on current systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for saw profiling, tools, and stain application.
• Make machine and process adjustments on line and on computer.
• Follow specific instructions on each order.
• Achieve set quality standards.
• Verify chemistry used for Hasko stain (chemistry number begins with W).
• Monitor parameters such as speed and adjust settings for different board sizes.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Complete computerized quality reports.
