Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Manager, Quality Data to lead the quality data team, ensuring timely delivery of HEDIS and survey data to regulators and partners.

The role collaborates with technical, clinical, and compliance staff to optimize ETL processes and data procurement. The manager supervises Senior Data and Data Analysts, participates in audits, and drives quality improvement initiatives while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of clinical outcomes review and quality data experience.
• At least 4 years of leading staff or supervisory/management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with HEDIS and Surveys (CAHPS, CG-CAHPS, MAPD, QHP-EES, HOS).
• Equivalency: Completion of the L.A. Care Management Certificate Training Program may substitute for the supervisory/management experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Updates internal policies and procedures related to data processes, data collection, and HIPAA compliance.
• Oversees staff performance, training, and mentoring to maximise productivity.
• Collaborates with plan partners and provider groups to optimize data quality.
• Produces and ensures delivery of reports for NCQA, CMS, MRMIB, and other regulators.
• Oversees vendor data services and contract management.
• Coordinates with vendors and legal for proposals and contracts.
