The Nemours Foundation in Orlando, FL seeks a Quality & Data Coordinator (HemOnc) to join our Hematology Oncology team. This full-time role oversees quality projects and data critical to advancing patient care and compliance.

You will manage accreditation activities, develop data systems, and collaborate with cross-functional staff to improve clinical outcomes and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Current Florida RN License in good standing.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
  • APHON certification required within six months of hire date.
  • Minimum of three years of experience.
  • CPHON, CPON, or BMCTN certification preferred.
  • Travel to satellite locations may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all phases of accreditation and regulatory readiness for the LDMFI-CBD.
  • Creation and revision of policies and procedures, submission of information prior to inspections.
  • Preparation of staff for inspections and coordination of corrective actions.
  • Oversees communication with accrediting bodies and program staff.
  • Serves as resource for interpretation of accreditation standards.
  • Oversees accreditation activities within the LDMFI-CBD.
  • Oversees FDA REMS program compliance for CAR-T and gene therapy products.
  • Collaborates with internal/external entities to track quality measures and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepares reports, minutes, process improvement suggestions, and CAPs.
  • Tracks data for US News & World Report and RFIs.
  • Maintains Teams pages for LDMFI-CBD programs and ensures documentation is current.
  • Attends Policy Education and Forms Committee meetings to align with enterprise policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Nemours is seeking aQuality & Data Coordinator(HemOnc), Full-Time,to join our Hematology Oncology team in Orlando, Florida.

This position is responsible for management and oversight of quality projects and data critical to advancement of quality and service for the Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders (LDMFI-CBD). Provides data assembly and appropriate management of respective databases.Synthesizes and interprets clinical data and identifies appropriate action items to improve clinical outcomes.

Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate data requirements for the Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders accreditation programs, including but not limited to the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) Commission on Cancer (COC), transplant and cellular therapy products (e.g., Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell (CAR-T) and gene therapy.

Develops improved systems and utilization of smart forms for data collection as required for National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), Pediatric Real World CAR Consortium (PRWCC), North American Pediatric Aplastic Anemia Consortium (NAPAAC)

Lead preparation activities for internal and third-party clinical audits to ensure the program and staff are compliant with regulatory requirements.

Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Quality and Practice and Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program Manager, along with multiple disciplines throughout the institution to achieve the strategic and clinical goals of the Moseley Institute.

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Manages all phases of accreditation/regulatory readiness for the LDMFI-CBD. This includes creation and revision of policies and procedures, submission of necessary information prior to inspections, preparation of involved staff members, provision of answers and documentation requested during an inspection, coordination of the correction of all deficiencies within the program, and coordination of all communication between accrediting bodies and the program. Serves as a resource for the organization for the interpretation of accreditation and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for all accreditation activities within the LDMFI-CBD.
  • Acts as the Nemours Authorized Representative to oversee implementation and compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) REMS Program requirements for Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell Therapy and gene therapy products. Ensures NCH, DE adheres to mandated requirements of a certified site/qualified treatment center.
  • Collaborates with various internal and external entities such as the American Red Cross, Registry Partners, the NCH, DE Stem Cell Laboratory team, operating room staff, infection prevention team, nursing leadership, CAR-T-cell contacts, and gene therapy contacts to track quality measures and regulatory compliance as it pertains to the Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Program. Supports Nemours team with onboarding activities of new cellular therapy products.
  • Prepares reports, minutes, suggestions for process improvements, and the facilitation of corrective action plans, as needed.
  • Tracks and reports data for US News and World Report and Managed Care Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Maintains all Teams pages for programs within the LDMFI-CBD. Ensures policies, reports, minutes, guidelines, and additional documentation are current.
  • Attend Policy Education meetings and Forms Committee meetings to ensure all LDMFI-CBD programs are aligned with enterprise policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
