Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Orlando, FL seeks a Quality & Data Coordinator (HemOnc) to manage accreditation readiness and data for LDMFI-CBD, including FACT and COC programs. You will develop data requirements, oversee databases, and collaborate across disciplines to improve clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities include preparing for inspections, tracking quality measures, and generating reports for regulatory bodies, with travel to satellite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Florida RN License in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• APHON certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience required.
• CPHON, CPON, or BMCTN certification preferred.
• Travel to satellite locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages accreditation/regulatory readiness for the LDMFI-CBD, including creation and revision of policies and procedures, submission of necessary information prior to inspections, preparation of staff, provision of answers and documentation during inspections, coordination of deficiency corrections, and communication with accrediting bodies.
• Responsible for all accreditation activities within the LDMFI-CBD.
• Acts as Nemours Authorized Representative to oversee implementation and compliance with the FDA FDA Mandate for CAR‑T cell therapy and gene therapy, ensuring mandatory mandates of a certified site/qualified treatment center.
• Collaborates with internal and external entities (American Red Cross, Registry Partners, NCH DE Stem Cell Laboratory team, OR staff, infection prevention, nursing leadership, CAR‑T contacts, gene therapy contacts) to track quality measures and compliance for the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program and supports onboarding of new cellular therapy products.
• Prepares reports, minutes, process improvement suggestions, and corrective action plans.
• Tracks and reports data for US News and World Report and Managed Care Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Maintains Teams pages for programs, ensuring all policies, reports, minutes, guidelines, and documentation are current.
• Attends Policy Education meetings and Forms Committee meetings to ensure program alignment with enterprise policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Nemours is seeking a Quality & Data Coordinator (HemOnc), Full-Time, to join our Hematology Oncology team in Orlando, Florida.

This position is responsible for management and oversight of quality projects and data critical to advancement of quality and service for the Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders (LDMFI-CBD). Provides data assembly and appropriate management of respective databases. Synthesizes and interprets clinical data and identifies appropriate action items to improve clinical outcomes.

Develop, implement, manage, and evaluate data requirements for the LDMFI-CBD accreditation programs, including the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) Commission on Cancer (COC), and for transplant and cellular therapy products (e.g., Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell (CAR‑T) and gene therapy.

Develop improved systems and utilization of smart forms for data collection required for National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), Pediatric Real World CAR Consortium (PRWCC), and North American Pediatric Aplastic Anemia Consortium (NAPAAC).

Lead preparation activities for internal and third‑party clinical audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Quality and Practice, Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program Manager, and multiple disciplines throughout the institution to achieve strategic and clinical goals of the Moseley Institute.
