Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Coordinator to ensure safety compliance and quality in our dry-mix concrete products at the plant level, including routine testing of products and aggregates per ASTM standards. You will test formulations, inspect incoming materials, prepare samples for sales, follow all specifications, and help keep the plant compliant with EH&S regulations.

This role includes competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; Associates degree preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
• Adequate computer skills.
• Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Experience with lab and testing procedures preferred.
• Experience with safety programs and compliance.
• Some experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Some mechanical aptitude or experience with production processing equipment preferred.
• Some experience with EH&S programs/agencies.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to problem-solve with a strong sense of goal attainment.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 80-95 lbs occasionally with team lifting/equipment.
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Ability to influence thinking and motivate change.

Job Summary

Compensation

• The hourly pay is $21-$24, based on experience
