The primary purpose of this job is to execute internal audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance of materials for release through certification or recertification to required standards, specifications, organizational systems, policies and procedures, technical and customer requirements.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
  1. Access and analyze data/information from various applications and sources to prepare the package for audit.
  2. Prepare Certificate of Test in compliance with all purchase orders, specifications, organizational policies, and procedures.
  3. Identify, locate, read, understand, and interpret product-specific industry and customer specifications, process outlines, customer documentation, end-user documents, etc.
  4. Consult and interact with departments (sales, product engineering, lab, document control, and quality) during the audit process to obtain needed information, specifications, clarifications, and customer acceptance.
  5. Perform heat file audits, and compile audit check sheets when applicable.
  6. Identify missing and/or incorrect testing or processing.
  7. Handle recertification of depot material and issue amended and corrected certifications.
  8. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willing to learn additional programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • Associate degree.
  • Experience with Oracle.
Certification and Licensing Requirements:
  • Complete training and testing per T.I. QC-19, and be listed as authorized personnel in the Certification Application.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., Nuclear training, Safran DPRV, Wyman AMQR, GE DSQR, ATI FORGED DSQR) are conditional and may be required for overcheck designee roles.
Work Setting and Schedule:
  • Potential weekend work at fiscal month-end based on business needs.
  • Typically office-based with regular in-person attendance, with options for remote work after qualification.
  • Travel within the US may be required.
  • Exposure to operational facilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle, Maximo is a plus.
  • Sufficient knowledge of company operations, products, and objectives.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
Abilities:
  • Collaborate with individuals with conflicting agendas.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple activities effectively.
  • Adapt to workload changes and perform under disruptions.
  • Work independently and in teams to achieve results.
  • Negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Qualify and perform duties for customer self-release programs as needed.
