Job summary

About the Role

The Quality Coordinator is primarily responsible for performing incoming, in‑process, and final inspection activities to ensure compliance with purchase orders, customer and product specifications, and standard industrial guidelines. Additional primary responsibilities include maintaining the calibrations and non‑conformance process.

Responsibilities

• Inspections of fabrication welds and understanding of AWS/CWB welding processes.
• Ensure that all quality requirements and documentation are complete for projects, including quality‑related data collection and record keeping.
• Assists in troubleshooting problems during inspection activities and recommends corrective action to resolve issues.
• Assists in maintenance and improvement of the ISO quality system required.
• Familiarity with Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) testing techniques such as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) & Liquid Particle Inspection (LPI).
• Daily communication with all departments regarding quality issues.
• Demonstrated ability to use basic measuring devices and equipment and solid mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prepare non‑conformance reports neatly and accurately.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in an ISO manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

• Experience working with ISO 9001, AWS D1.1/CSA W47.1 and AWS D1.1/W59.
• Scheduling, documenting, and technical support to Engineers is an asset.
• Must be able to work close tolerances and should be able to lift 50lb.
