Job summary

Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is seeking an experienced registered nurse to support the Director of Quality, Regulatory and Safety and drive hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives. The role involves data aggregation, analysis, and participation in committees addressing Quality, Safety and Performance Improvement.

Collaborate with service line Registry Coordinators, physicians, and departments to develop and evaluate programs that advance evidence-based practice and patient care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD, BSN).
  • Registered Nurse with current license and BLS certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with quality improvement and data analysis.
  • Ability to develop policies and procedures and generate reports.
  • Strong coordination with physicians and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with leading quality improvement programs and processes.
  • Aggregate and analyze data from databases to support best practices.
  • Participate in committees and teams for quality, safety, infection prevention, and performance improvement.
  • Execute project tasks related to Performance Improvement across departments.
  • Assist with medical staff monitoring and hospital-wide quality initiatives.

Also assists with aggregation and analysis of data from various databases, to facilitate development and support of best practices and evidence-based medicine. Participates in all aspects of committees and teams development to address Quality, Safety, Infection Prevention, and Performance Improvement initiatives for the organization including the Medical Staff. Executes project tasks related to Performance Improvement across departments. Assists Director(s) and supervisor with medical staff monitoring functions and hospital wide quality improvement programs.
