Job summary

Regeneron is seeking a Quality Control Visual Inspection Technician in Rensselaer, NY. The role performs manual visual inspection of drug product packaging and medical device components to ensure quality prior to use in manufacturing.

You will document results, adhere to cGMP, and support high-throughput inspection while maintaining accuracy. Typical shifts include 8:00am-4:30pm Sunday-Thursday, with training Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

• Manual visual inspection of drug packaging and medical device components.
• Uses light boxes, magnifiers, size charts and optical comparators to identify defects.
• Maintains inspection records to ensure cGMP compliance and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts manual visual inspection of drug product packaging and medical device components.
• Uses inspection tools (e.g., magnifiers, size estimation charts, optical comparators) to evaluate and characterize defects accurately.
• Completes, reviews, and reconciles inspection records and logbooks to ensure compliance with cGMP standards and internal procedures.
• Maintains laboratory supplies and performs routine laboratory maintenance to support continuous operations.
• Participates in training and competency assessments for visual inspection.
• Adheres to cGMP, safety, and gowning/PPE requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Supports high-throughput inspection activities, sustaining focus and accuracy for extended periods.
• Uses computerized systems to perform daily tasks and document inspection results.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates inspection findings to ensure alignment and timely resolution of quality issues.
