Job summary

Manpower Temecula in Perris, CA is seeking a Quality Control Tester to perform electrical tests and verify unit conformity to procedures. The role involves using test equipment and documenting results to support manufacturing compliance.

You will work a M-F schedule 6am-2:30pm, with Friday shift variation, and must pass drug screen and background check; prior test-equipment experience and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with test equipment such as hand tools, microscopes and calculators.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions; perform basic math calculations.
• Basic computer skills; able to work with others or independently.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Test parts to determine conformance to specifications.
• Visually inspect in-process and final parts for reliability and compliance.
• Set up and perform mechanical testing to verify specifications.
• Submit parts to customer source surveillance inspectors as needed.
• Maintain documentation for reference and as objective evidence of compliance.
• Promptly report out-of-control conditions or irregularities.
• Operate testing equipment (ohmmeter, oscilloscope, magnetics analyzer, gauges).
• Input test data into computer.

Quality Control Tester $17.00 Hour

Location: Romoland/Menifee CA

Schedule: M-F 6am-2:30pm Fridays usually 5am-1:30pm

Overview of Position:

Conducts a variety of electrical tests to evaluate the performance of units produced. Responsible for monitoring manufacturing compliance to written procedures.

Job Duties:

• Tests parts to determine conformance to specifications (e.g. inductance resistance ratio/polarity hipot etc).
• Visual inspection of in-process and final parts for high reliability compliance to stringent requirements.
• Setup and perform mechanical testing to verify parts to specification (e.g. solderability seal test x-ray preparation resistance to solvents etc.).
• Submits parts to and works with customer source surveillance inspectors.
• Maintains documentation for reference and as objective evidence to verify manufacturing compliance.
• Immediate reporting of out-of-control conditions or irregularities to assure that prompt corrective action is taken.
• Uses testing equipment ohmmeter oscilloscope magnetics analyzer mechanical gauges and tools (e.g. calipers micrometers thread/plug gauges etc.).
• Inputs test data to computer
