Job summary

Intermountain Electronics (IE) specializes in design, manufacture, and testing of power distribution equipment. The Quality Control Test Technician - PDU role on the Dayshift at the Price, UT facility involves performing electrical tests and inspecting products to ensure quality and reliability throughout production.

Responsibilities include data collection, ISO/Six Sigma adherence, and collaboration with the Project Manager and customers during final testing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology with three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests and inspect products using ISO 9000 or Six Sigma methods.
• Test at various stages of production and compile/evaluate statistical data.
• Sign off on end of project QA forms.
• Test transformers, power centers, and repaired equipment.
• Record test data and apply statistical quality control.
• Evaluate data and write reports on deviations from standards.
• Recommend modifications to quality or production standards.
• Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests.
• Work with Project Manager and customers in final testing.
