Job summary

Intermountain Electronics (IE) is a leader in custom electrical control and power distribution solutions. The Quality Inspector role is based at the Denver facility and reports to the Quality Supervisor.

The position features a mid-shift schedule Monday-Thursday, 12pm–10:30pm, with comprehensive benefits including PTO, holidays, medical/dental plans, 401K match, and HSA. Key duties include inspecting work in progress and finished products, maintaining records, and leading corrective actions for

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus three years of relevant industrial/commercial electrical experience plus two years quality control/inspection experience.
• Working knowledge of three phase power systems, motor controls, drives, low voltage controls, PLCs.
• Working knowledge of electrical test equipment (multimeter, Hi-pot, calipers).
• Must understand electrical diagrams and prints to verify quality against specifications.
• Familiarity with NEC and safety procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and support electrical reviews on equipment and systems (MCCs, electrical houses, power centers, etc.).
• Interpret assembly prints to wire and install components while ensuring quality standards.
• Perform in-process and final inspections and document results.
• Lead root cause analysis on NCRs and customer escapes and implement corrective actions.
• Train new employees on quality processes and inspection procedures.
