Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride Corporation in the United States is seeking a QA assistant to perform daily quality checks, ensuring HACCP and SSOPs are met. You will document and maintain process control parameters and monitor GMPs on 1st and 3rd shifts. This role emphasizes accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay is $19.00 per hour with a $2.00 night shift differential. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to lift 40 lbs; English

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to complete daily paperwork, ensuring that all HACCP and SSOP's are met.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform quality checks.
2. Document and maintain process control parameters.
3. Monitor and document GMP's.
4. Other duties as assigned.
5. Pre Op rotations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in QA preferred but not required
• Must read, write and speak English
• Basic math skills
• Detailed oriented
• Able to lift and/or move 40 lbs.
• Ability to work walking/standing for long periods of time
• Good interpersonal relation skills
• Dependable, prompt and willing to work overtime when necessary
• Above average work record
• Above average attendance record

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Must pass a math skill test.
