Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Russellville, Alabama seeks a Quality Assurance & Food Safety associate to uphold HACCP and SSOP requirements. You will complete daily paperwork and ensure safety and quality across 1st and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities include QA checks, process documentation, GMP monitoring, and other duties as assigned, with focus on maintaining food safety standards and continuous improvement.

Pay is $19.00/hour (plus, night shift differential of $2.00)
POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to complete daily paperwork, ensuring that all HACCP and SSOP’s are met.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform quality checks.
• Document and maintain process control parameters.
• Monitor and document GMP’s.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Pre Op rotations.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in QA preferred but not required
• Must read, write and speak English
• Basic math skills
• Detailed oriented
• Able to lift and/or move 40 lbs.
• Ability to work walking/standing for long periods of time
• Good interpersonal relation skills
• Dependable, prompt and willing to work overtime when necessary
• Above average work record

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Must pass a math skill test.
