Pilgrim’s is seeking a QA Technician to join our Guntersville, AL team. The role partners with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure regulatory and customer standards are met across production areas.

You will perform checks, analyze measurements, and maintain accurate documentation. The job requires English literacy, basic math, and the ability to lift 40 lbs; Monday–Friday with some weekend variation and shift differences.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Education required.
• QA experience is a plus.
• Computer skills are required for data entry and reporting.
• English read/write capability is required for documentation.
• Must complete QA Assessment test.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and customer standards by coordinating with Supervisors and Managers.
• Complete departmental checks and upload information into MYQM.
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
• Read and write in English to meet documentation requirements.
• Apply math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verifications.
• Work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Make real-time decisions using sound judgment.
• Work flexible hours to support production needs.
• Perform duties in cold or hot environments as required.
• Learn and follow HACCP procedures and pass HACCP exams.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a QA Technician to work at Pilgrim’s in Guntersville, AL

Pilgrim’s in Guntersville, AL is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented QA Technician to work closely with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure all regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are consistently met within production areas.

• Work directly with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and customer standards.
• Complete required departmental checks and accurately upload all information into MYQM.
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
• Read, write, and understand English to meet documentation and communication requirements.
• Apply strong math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time.
• Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
• Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods.
• Learn and follow HACCP System procedures; successfully pass all required HACCP examinations.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as needed to complete job tasks.
• Other duties as assigned
