Description

Immediate Quality Control Associate Opportunity

QC - Swing Shift (1 pm to 9:30 pm)

Salary Compensation: $17.50 ($16 per hour + $1.50 shift differential)

Sign-on Bonus: $500*

Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician position involves various production duties, including operating testing stations to record product data and monitor food quality. Responsibilities include data entry, monitoring food safety, and supporting production, sanitation, and cleaning activities. High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and safely are essential.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monitor production Critical Control Points (CCPs) and record data.
  • Maintain clear documentation and perform accurate data entry.
  • Ensure evaluation equipment is clean and operational.
  • Hold non-conforming products.
  • Communicate issues to supervisors.
  • Collect samples during production.
  • Perform ATP and other swabbing tests.
  • Operate moisture analysis, bulk density, and rotap equipment.
  • Verify pre-op documentation and perform QC checks.
  • Inspect product labeling and ingredients.
  • Monitor prerequisite programs.
  • Provide shift pass downs.
  • Follow SOPs and GMPs, maintain a clean work area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, punctual, self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, climb, and lift up to 35 pounds safely.
  • Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Internet).
  • Accurate data entry skills, basic math skills, attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle allergens and work in varying environments.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 6 months experience in quality control or related field preferred.
