Job summary

Accumold is seeking a Quality Control Technician to implement the quality system on the production floor via SPC, calibration, and inspection and testing. The role reports to the Quality Manager and requires the ability to work with measurement equipment and document results.

The candidate should be comfortable with First Article Reports and training fellow workers in inspection techniques. Typical requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus a two-year QA-related degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year QA/quality tech degree preferred.
• Two-year associate degree in quality or related field is preferred.
• Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools (microscopes, micrometers, digital indicators) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests products at various stages using metrology equipment.
• Records inspection results in paper and electronic systems.
• Analyzes statistical data to maintain product and process quality.
• Completes First Article Reports as needed.
• Trains others in in-process inspection techniques.
• Reports quality problems to the Quality Manager.
• Maintains quality records and documentation.
