Job summary

Valley Staffing seeks a quality control technician to evaluate daily production and ensure quality compliance in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include material counting, identifying rework and scrap, and documenting results.

Calibrating gauges and maintaining inspection equipment in the quality lab are essential. Strong math, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with a high school diploma and 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong mathematical aptitude to compute rates, ratios and percentages and interpret SPC charts.
• Excellent oral and written communication; well-organized and capable of working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates daily production to determine quality compliance results.
• Ensures accurate count of incoming raw material through physical count.
• Counts and sorts in-process and finished product to identify rework requirements and scrap and documents results.
• Calibrates and maintains measuring devices (gauges); performs gauge capability studies; maintains inspection equipment in quality lab.
