Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a production line operator to support manufacturing of aerosol and liquid products. The role focuses on reading work orders, decoding production codes, and ensuring line clearance and quality throughout changeovers.

Employees will monitor weights, testing, codes, and document data in the SPC database, while performing SAP transactions as needed. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be detail oriented with a team mindset.

Qualifications

• Read and follow work orders and instructions for production.
• Read and decipher production codes based on Page 2 notes.
• Maintain line clearance and complete startup checks.

Responsibilities

• Read the entire work order and follow all instructions for the product being run.
• Read and decipher codes for production based on Page 2 notes.
• Ensure line clearance and first check during change-over.
• Verify Changeover/Startup paperwork accuracy.
• Perform hourly line checks as specified.
• Monitor weights, crimps, testing, codes and overall product quality.
• Enter and verify data in the Finished Goods (SPC) database as required.
• Ensure product meets quality and food safety specifications.
• Record defects and reject pallets with explanations.
• Process SAP transactions LS24, MIGO, and MMBE.
• Submit completed work orders, samples, and retain documentation.
• Collaborate with operations to reduce defects via root-cause analysis.
