Job summary

IFS Coatings Inc in Gainesville, FL seeks a Laboratory Technician for the 2nd shift (5 pm to 5 am) to conduct tests, record results, and ensure batch quality according to approved methods.

You will follow safety protocols, communicate with manufacturing, and support testing tasks as needed. Strong communication and basic math skills and color vision are required.

Qualifications

• Good communication, clear and effective interaction with team and manufacturing.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and data analysis.
• Color vision test is required to assess color-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols.
• Spray test panels with adequate results.
• Perform laboratory tests using approved testing methods.
• Document test results and report production batch quality based on test results.
• Communicate with manufacturing.
• Assist with any additional testing tasks as needed.
