Job summary

Solution One Industries seeks a Quality Control Technician to support West Texas and New Mexico CBP operations. Based in El Paso, you will implement and sustain the QMS, drive zero-defect initiatives, and ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met across a distributed program.

You will collaborate with Quality, PM, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve quality metrics, lead CAPAs, and provide data-driven reports. The role emphasizes safety, accountability, and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing technology, industrial technology, or quality management (or equivalent).
• Experience applying ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and close tasks on schedule.
• Certifications: ASQ CQT/CQI or OSHA 10 preferred.
• U.S. citizen and able to pass CBP background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and measure the quality management system and Zero-Defect initiatives for CBP programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9100, and other quality standards across programs.
• Apply company policies and drive continual improvement in quality, cost, and schedule.
• Provide data for PSQ, NCRs, and PM reports; present monthly status updates.
