Job summary

Solution One Industries seeks a Quality Control Technician to support CBP operations in West Texas and New Mexico, marshalling QMS development, zero-defect initiatives, and compliance across the program lifecycle. The role collaborates across program management, operations, and supply chain to ensure quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in manufacturing/quality, ISO/AS9100 experience, and relevant certifications (CQT/CQI) with strong

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in manufacturing/industrial quality management.
• Experience applying ISO, AS9100 or comparable quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to focus, prioritize, and multitask to meet commitments.
• Certifications: ASQ CQT or CQI, OSHA 10 baseline safety.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass CBP background investigation.
• Experience in large, dispersed quality surveillance activities.
• Must possess a current valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and measure the quality management system and Zero-Defect initiatives for CBP operations.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to support program execution and compliance.
• Provide data gathering for process improvement and corrective actions; write nonconformances.
• Present monthly status reports to site and sector management; maintain quality metrics.

Education

Associate degree in manufacturing technology / industrial technology / quality management
