Job summary

Johnson Controls in Glendale, Kentucky, seeks a Quality Technician to perform final inspections on industrial mechanical and HVAC maintenance activities performed by in-house technicians. You will verify conformity to quality and engineering requirements, document non-conformances, calibrate tools, analyze quality data, and help improve training and maintenance processes.

This role requires basic measurement skills, experience with ISO 9001 and SPC concepts, and strong communication to share

Qualifications

At least two years of experience in an industrial or plant-based manufacturing environment.
Experience with HVAC equipment and internal parts is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, job plans, and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, PPAP, SPC, and lean business systems.

Responsibilities

Perform final inspection on completed industrial mechanical and HVAC maintenance work.
Document non-conformances and communicate findings.
Calibrate and maintain tools, fixtures, and instruments.
Prepare quality reports and communicate data to leadership.
Develop, implement, and maintain systems to track performance of maintenance processes.
