Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QC or clinical laboratory experience.
  • Experience running chemistry, hematology, and immunoassay analyzers is a plus.
  • Clinical lab experience will be considered equivalent.

Job description

In this role as a Bio-Rad QC Technician II, you will support the testing and documentation needs of the Quality Control department during the manufacture and release of Bio-Rad control products. This position will work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

How You'll Make An Impact:
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC laboratory instruments.
  • Follow good laboratory practices.
  • Order supplies and maintain instrument preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Interface with other departments when required.
  • Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability according to Quality Control procedures.
  • Enter results into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as required.
What You Bring:
  • Associate's degree or higher in a science field or equivalent clinical lab experience.
  • 3+ years of QC or clinical laboratory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Experience running chemistry, hematology, and immunoassay analyzers is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required. Experience with an LIS is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $26.68 to $36.73. Actual compensation will be communicated at the time of offer and is based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The position is eligible for a variable annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
