Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking a Quality Control Technician I in California to support product and packaging inspections, data capture, and adherence to GMP standards. You will verify materials, weights, codes, and line clearances while collaborating with production teams to maintain quality across all products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience or commensurate education/experience.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Verify product, packaging materials, and labels meet all documented specifications.
• Verify adequate sanitation and line clearances between product runs.
• Verify weights and date code printing are within specifications.
• Ensure GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Check product for defect levels and document results.
• Collect and process finished product samples.
• Check and clear production lines after maintenance work is performed.
• Track and report label and bag usage, cases produced and investigate discrepancies.
• Use AMAPS and SharePoint to hold or release product, including scanning QR codes.
• Perform scale and weight checks per SOPs/WIs.
• Document all work in accordance with regulations and procedures.
