Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Technician I

Location: Swiftwater, PA - 18370

Duration: 12 months contract on W2

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM EST

We are seeking a Quality Control Microbiologist with a strong foundation in microbiology and basic knowledge of cGMP who can support daily QC microbiology lab operations. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, lab-savvy, a quick learner, and comfortable following regulated procedures. This role is suitable for recent graduates with some lab or QC internship experience.

Day to Day Tasks include:

  1. Performing routine microbiology tests to support production and product stability
  2. Using aseptic techniques to handle and culture bacterial/viral samples
  3. Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment and spaces
  4. Visually inspecting vials, plates, and containers
  5. Documenting lab results and activities accurately per GMP standards
  6. Assisting with method validation testing
  7. Participating in team and safety meetings
  8. Setting up and breaking down equipment
  9. Properly disposing of lab waste
  10. Learning and applying regulatory standards
  11. Working in a regulated pharmaceutical environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Microbiology or Biological Sciences
