Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Materials QC/Lab Technician for a global technology client in the building automation and industrial technology sector. The role involves testing materials per ASTM/AASHTO standards and maintaining QC databases.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years of post-secondary science-related education, and at least 2 years of QC lab experience. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google apps is required. Ability to lift 50 lbs is needed.

  • At least 2 years experience as materials QC/Lab Technician preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Google apps.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests on materials using ASTM and AASHTO standards.
  • Carry out ongoing lab and field sampling.
  • Conduct in-depth problem-solving and data analyses.
  • Assist with documenting material control plans.
  • Update Quality Control/Quality Assurance databases.

Qualifications
