Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking candidates for a Materials QC Laboratory Technician role in the United States. The position involves performing quality control tests on materials to ASTM/AASHTO standards, performing lab and field sampling, and conducting detailed data analyses to support quality assurance efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in materials QC, plus proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Google applications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; sciences-focused education preferred.
  • 2+ years experience as materials QC laborator y technician.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Google applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests on materials using ASTM and AASHTO standards.
  • Carry out ongoing lab and field sampling.
  • Conduct in-depth problem-solving and detailed data analyses.
  • Assist with the documentation of material control plans.
  • Carry out regular updates to Quality Control and Quality Assurance databases.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Two years of post-secondary technical education or course work in Sciences preferred
  • At least two years of experience as materials Q.C. Laboratory Technician preferred
  • Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Google applications
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs over uneven ground
