Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician for a client in the building automation and industrial technology sector in Maryland. The role focuses on quality control, safety standards, and calibration of testing equipment across laboratory and field environments.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or higher, and certifications such as MD DOT Aggregate Technician and MSHA or the ability to obtain them within specified timelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or at least two years of experience in materials
  • 1-3 years of required work experience
  • MD DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Mine Safety and Health Administration Certificate (MSHA) or ability to obtain in 6 months
  • Two years of post-secondary technical education or equivalent in experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control tests for the specific product line
  • Observe and enforce all Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies
  • Assist with the development and documentation of material control plans
  • Perform service, repair, and calibration of laboratory and field testing equipment
  • Provide troubleshooting guidance and advice for various customers
