Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to perform QC tests on sand and rock materials using ASTM and AASHTO standards. You will conduct lab and field sampling, analyze data, and help ensure products meet state and customer specifications.
The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with limited supervision, and willingness to travel to multi-region sites; safety compliance is emphasized throughout the role.

You will be responsible for performing quality control tests on materials (sand/rock) for specific product lines using ASTM and AASHTO standards.
High School diploma/GED; two years of post-secondary technical education or course work in Sciences that deals with laboratory functions is preferred. This is a great entry level position for a Geology, Chemistry or Earth Sciences graduate.
At least two years of experience as materials Q.C. Laboratory Technician, preferred.
Ability to learn the basic operations of aggregate plants.
Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Google applications. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs over uneven ground for a distance.
