Job summary

Sauer Brands, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift at its Mauldin, SC facility. You will perform chemical and physical tests on ingredients and finished products, ensure compliance with company standards, and help maintain a safe, orderly QC lab.

Responsibilities include using titrators for salt and acidity, moisture and fat analyses with the CEM Smart Trac, viscosity and pH checks, calibrations, and supporting production lines. Training and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in quality control or lab testing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform salt and acidity testing on finished products and in-process samples using titrators.
• Perform moisture and fat analysis of finished products, slurries, and starches using the CEM Smart Trac.
• Perform viscosity, Brix, and pH testing on finished products.
• Calibrate pH meters, thermometers, and refractometers.
• Assist in isolating and placing out-of-specification products on QC Hold.
• Maintain a clean, organized QC lab and support special projects.
