Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Quality Control Technician to work with cutting-edge technology, performing inspections, testing, and data collection to ensure product standards are met from first power-on.

You will operate mechanical and electrical test equipment, document deviations, communicate results with stakeholders, and help train new team members in our fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3 years related on‑the‑job experience.
• Two years of on‑the‑job experience in mechanical inspection or related field.
• Two years working knowledge of computer hardware or networking.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective interpersonal oral and written communication skills a must.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Detail and process oriented.
• Continued interest in new technologies and willingness to learn.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review workload and make decisions based on priority.
• Verify product per documentation, standards, and customer requirements.
• Inspect electronic sub-assemblies, cables, and hardware.
• Document deviations and resolutions.
• Communicate deviations and resolutions effectively.
• Resolve minor deviations before advancing to the next stage.
• Contribute to creating product or process standards with departments.
• Ensure documentation captures amendments and conformance to standards.
• Learn new product standards and their conformance.
• Test completed products using provided equipment and software.
• Operate test equipment to check conformance.
• Collect data and present in tables and charts.
• Maintain internal diagnostics programs with teams.
• Assist with training of new team members.
• Contribute to team efforts as needed.
