Quality Control Technician - County Prestress & Precast, LLC (Manufacturing)

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our facility in Whitestown, IN. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during product manufacturing.
• Inspect materials, parts, and products at various production stages.
• Record observations and recommend process improvements.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry.
• Observe production processes including setup, casting, stripping, and storage.
• Collaborate with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance.
• Maintain housekeeping to ensure a safe work environment.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• Work near moving machinery and equipment, with potential electrical hazards.
• Operate in noisy environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Carrying/Lifting 10-40 pounds frequently, >40 pounds occasionally.
• Standing, walking, climbing, squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending.
• Pushing, pulling, reaching overhead.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Understanding of manufacturing environments.
• Concrete plant and/or quality control experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to train and obtain technical certifications.
• Independent work capability.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience; construction/building materials industry experience preferred.
• Certifications such as PCI Level I/II, ACI Level I, DOT training, or CAD experience are preferred but not required.
